Gamora 2

As promised, here are a few pictures of Gamora in her (almost) original costume. I hope you enjoy them.

Gamora

One of the things that I most dislike about the Marvel films is that they change the costumes of the heroes. A prime example is Gamora, who appears in the Guardians Of The Galaxy films. Her costume hasn't just been changed, it's been completely re-invented. This is what she looked like in the 1970's comics.

It's a full body fishnet with nothing underneath, with a few golden ornaments added. The upper body is discreetly shaded to hide the nipples, but they're still on display. Her lower areas are covered by the golden loincloth, or whatever it's called.

I've spent a lot of time trying to recreate the original uniform. I abandoned the golden loincloth because it kept slipping aside in action pictures, and I didn't want to expose her genital areas. I replaced it with a green bikini bottom.

This is my homage to Gamora's original appearance. It's not identical to her 1970's look, but it's much better than the way she looks in the films. Zoe Saldana should pay attention.

Good Girl Art

This is an attempt to recreate the artistic style of Bill Ward from the 1940's to 1950's. I'll probably return to this style at a future date.

Grand Central Station

Grand Central Station in New York. My picture shows the station shortly after it opened in 1913. Since then the station itself has hardly been changed, but the clothing worn by visitors shows the passing of time.

Otto Von Bismarck

Otto von Bismarck, the first German chancellor, who lived from 1st April 1815 to 30th July 1898. He's most famous for creating the German Empire, usually called Germany, on 18th January 1871. Germany never existed as a country before this date. Germany, or Germania, had been known as a geographical area for 2000 years. This is the same as Palestine, a well known geographical area that has never been a country. Bismarck united 25 smaller kingdoms into the single country called Germany.

I've neglected this blog for the last two months. The initial reason was that my inspiration dried up. AI artwork isn't about drawing pictures at random. That would be AI slop. I need to have an idea. This morning I gathered 338 recent pictures that are suitable for posting on my blog. I shan't post all of them. If I have 10 similar pictures in a theme I'll only post two or three of them.
